Biography #

Nick Sarkauskas (nsarka) is a software engineer at NVIDIA working on communication libraries such as UCC, NCCL, and closed source NCCL plugins (net and profiler) for NVIDIA Spectrum-X deployments. His research interests include a variety of systems, networking, and AI topics.

Previously, he was concurrently an M.S. student at The Ohio State University studying HPC under advisor D.K. Panda, and a part-time MPI software engineer at X-ScaleSolutions, a Columbus-based startup specializing in a range of high-performance and scalable solutions for HPC systems.

Note on AI use #

While I use AI tools for LaTeX formatting and writing code (even for updating this site), all text you can see here is completely human written. Same with the diagrams–those are usually created using the wonderful Excalidraw tool. In my opinion doing it this way adds authenticity.
